Wikimedia Commons has a specific scope

Please review our project scope, but in short, Commons is targeted at educational media files including photographs, diagrams, animations, music, spoken text and video clips. The expression “educational” is to be understood according to its broad meaning of “providing knowledge; instructional or informative”. Wikimedia Commons does not contain text articles like encyclopedia articles, textbooks, news, word definitions and such. Each of these other kinds of content have their own projects: Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wiktionary and Wikiquote.

If the content seems to fit the scope of one of those other projects, please consider contributing it there. Otherwise, consider an alternative outlet. If you think that the deletion was in error because the contribution really was in scope, you can appeal it at Commons:Undeletion requests, giving a reason why it fits our scope to help others evaluate the matter. The pictures seem to be scanned from a book. A permission from their author (who drew the pictures initially) is required here or an evidence that the book has been published under a free license (like CC_BY-SA-3.0, for example). Redirection of gallery pages

ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 ; Please follow the guidance of Commons:Galleries and Commons:When to create a gallery. Note especially, "Galleries should not be created if they merely duplicate the purpose of a category. However, this does not mean they should be deleted or "merged". Categories will always be categories, but galleries can turn into something much more." If you wish, you can improve galleries by adding headings and editing their content to better illustrate their subject. Stop redirecting galleries to categories

Please stop redirecting galleries to categories. As I explained to you on my talk page, "the category has more images" is not a valid reason.[3][4] BerndH has reverted your edit.[5] The gallery, Baeomyces rufus, is linked from de:Baeomyces rufus at the top of its "Weblinks" section. Editors on other projects (including me) often use galleries on Commons instead of galleries within their article. Your edits of this sort are unhelpful. I have reverted some of them. GRIN says the accepted name is Allium senescens subsp. montanum (Fr.) Holub).[8] ThePlantList says that Allium lusitanicum Lam. is an accepted name.[9] What is the source for your edit? Thanks but

Thank you for your work on Category:Uploads by LasPo rocks needing category review. I can see you have made a lot of good work removing bad categories from the files that were there. But there is a problem. Many useless categories still persist on the files (such as Tumblr, Pinterest, Tears, Emo on File:Dark Angel Tears (5051938202).jpg) and now they cannot be found easily because you removed the files from Uploads by LasPo rocks needing category review as well. Please be more careful in the future, and if you're not sure if some categories are accurate and useful for the file, you can remove or enhance useless categories but leave the "category review" type of category in place so someone else will also have a look. --Pitke (talk) 21:10, 24 August 2015 (UTC)

Ao longo destas duas edições contamos com a participação de quase 3.000 fotógrafos e recebemos ao todo mais de 20.000 imagens que estão sendo usadas para ilustrar artigos da Wikipédia e enriquecendo o nosso repositório de imagens aqui no Wikimedia Commons. Explaining Public Domain Mark 1.0

Hello, to explain, the Public Domain Mark 1.0 license is only used for works known to be out of copyright (for example, old works). It should not be used to release a work into the public domain. To release a work to the public domain, CC0 must be used instead. To know when Public Domain Mark 1.0 is used, look for the icon which is a small circle with a "C" that is slashed. While CC0 is a small circle with a "0" that is slashed. If you see an image that is licensed under Public Domain Mark 1.0, check first if it is used correctly. It should be an old work. Please revert your redirects

You changed Category:Low quality food and drink pictures into a redirect. In my opinion this isn't correct. There is also no rational at all given to have it changed in to a redirect. It is also very strange that you start a discussion and then you yourself end the discussion making a decision for which there was no consensus. tilting images

Please do not tilt images as you've done with File:Jerusalem's Old City (4159529435).jpg and many other images. Tilting images (as opposed to properly straightening them) results in a significant amount of whitespace and thus makes inclusions in Wikipedia articles and other Wikimedia pages look inappropriate. يا ديفيد: كومنز ليس بموقع رفع أو حفظ ملفات، وليس مختص بالاحتفاظ بملفاتك التي تخاف عليها من الضياع هناك مواقع مخصصة لذلك مثل: Dropbox - onedrive - googledrive.

ثانيا: هذه الصور لن تقدر على استرجاعها، حتى لو فرضنا أنك تقصد استرجاعها بعد أن تصبح في الملكية العامة، وبما أن مؤلفين هذه الكتب لا يزالون أحياء، فلو فرضنا أنهم قد يتوفون بعد 20 عام فستحتاج أنك تنتظر 75 سنة حتى تمر 50 سنة على وفاتهم (يعني ستصبح في الملكية العامة سنة 2081) !!!

ثالثاً: فكرتك الجهنمية في رفع صور كتب كي تستخدم في تطوير مقالات، فكرة عديمة الجدوى وليس لها فائدة إطلاقاً، لأنها صور كاميرا موبايل غير واضحة ولا يوجد شخص عنده صبر يتصفح كل هذه الصور (سيقوم بتحميل الكتاب PDF اسرع وهي كثيرة على الأنترنت)، الكتب التي ترفعها كتب أكاديمية ودينية ليست مطلوبة في المقالات ولا لها أهمية، للأسف أنت تضيع وقتك ومجهودك وأيضاً تقوم برفع ملفات كثيرة مخالفة وقد تعرضك للمنع هنا في كومنز --Ibrahim.ID ♒ 08:15, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

You say The Image associated with this disease.. We know that there are people who overcome disease. Not for this reason you have to put that photo in the category of disease that she has overcome. It is the story (and not the image) that associates GypsyLee Bilenda with this serious disease. Similarly, it would make no sense that I put my photo in Category:Chondrosarcoma because I passed a bone cancer nine years ago.

كان مضبوطاً على الكاميرا في ذلك اليوم وقد حاولت اصلاح الصورة عند رفعها ولم اتمكن من ذلك لكن منذ 3 أشهر تقريباً تعرفت على خيار في الفوتوشوب يتيح تعديل التشبع ولذا أصلحت الصورة وفي الحقيقة فحتى زاوية الصورة لم تعجبني والسبب يعود أني لم احصل على مشهد جيد حيث التقطت العديد من الصور وكانت الأغنام في تشكيلة غير مناسبة تحياتي

الصور التي أقوم بترشيحها للحذف هي صور مخالفة 100% لسياسات كومنز وليست إفتراء، لا داعي للحمية والعصبية في كل ترشيح حذف لأن كلامك أصلاً خاطيء وتقوم بإحراج نفسك، الملكية العامة في مصر تجعل الصور الفوتوغرافية فقط في الملكية العامة بعد 25 عام، لا الكتب ولا الأفلام ولا اللقطات ولا الوثائق خاضعة لقاعدة 25 عام (مش كل حاجة تبقى 25 سنة !!)، أنت للأسف مساهماتك المخالفة هذه ستخرب علينا الأمور وتجعل أي شخص يشكك في أي صورة ترفع تحت ترخيص الملكية العامة في مصر، وستتسبب ايضاً في التشديد على الصور المصرية واللي قد يتم حذفها لأتفه سبب --Ibrahim.ID ♒ 12:10, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

الأفلام بتعتبر مصنفات لمؤلف معروف، ويجب أن يمضي 50 عام على وفاته (هذا قانون دولة وليس قواعد كومنز)، لقطة الشاشة لا تعتبر صور فوتوغرافية لأنها نسخ لمحتوى أخر (عمل مشتق وليس عمل لأول مرة)، لقطات الشاشة عموما ممنوعة في كومنز لأنه ممنوع وضع أي صور استخدام عادل، خلاصة الموضوع وبشكل نهائي: أي صورة فوتوغرافية فقط التقطت قبل عام 1987 هي فقط ما ترفعها على كومنز كملكية عامة مصرية، أي شيء بخلاف هذا لا ترفعه وإلا سيحذف، انتهت المسألة.

ومن فضلك (وحشرحها باللهجة المصرية): حاول أنك تثقف نفسك أولاً وتقرأ كويس، مش كل صورة مرشحة للحذف تجادل فيها بهذا الشكل وأنت مع احترامي جاهل بالقواعد، كومنز مش موقع مخصص لوضع مقتنياتك وألبومات صورك وتحقيق رؤيتك وأحلامك لأنك تضر بالأخرين بالصور المخالفة دي، وإصرارك على المخالفات دي حيخليني أضطر لاتخاذ إجراءات غير مستحبة معاك، كم الصور المخالفة والمحذوفة عندك حتعرضك للمنع هنا في كومنز في أي لحظة، أنا بس حبيت أنبه للخطر اللي وقعت نفسك فيه --Ibrahim.ID ♒ 13:11, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

ملحوظة أخيرة ونهائية

ديفيد أنت في واقع الأمر كارثة على ويكيبيديا العربية والعرب والمصريين أنفسهم .. أنت تصرفاتك غير مسئولة وقمت برفع عدد ضخم من الملفات الغير صحيحة .. وهذا ما يجعل البعض يشكك في مصداقية الملفات العربية وصحة تراخيص هذه الملفات .. لو نظرت في صفحة نقاشك ستجد سجل سيء من الملفات المخالفة والتي تم حذفها ..

والمصيبة أنك بدلاً من أن تخجل من تصرفاتك تصر على الجدل .. بل وتصر على الجدل حول ملفات أنت تحتفظ بها كمعرض صور شخصي خاص بك !! ليتها صور مفيدة

الترجمة بتعتبر عمل إبداعي، يعني يعتبر عمل مستقل بذاته (له حقوقه الخاصة) وليس عمل مشتق من العمل الاصلي، وبالتالي لو الكتاب كان إصدار حديث يصبح ذو حقوق محفوظة --Ibrahim.ID ♒ 17:48, 23 September 2016 (UTC)

الشعارات وضع مختلف .. لأنها علامات تجارية لا تسقط بالتقادم ولا تصبح في الملكية العامة إلا بعد 100 عام خاصة لو كانت لا تزال مستخدمة ولم يتم تصميم شعار جديد
